Windows Server & Network Administrator

- Install, configure, and maintain a Windows Server (2019/2022) as the company’s central file server.
- Set up and manage secure file sharing (SMB) with proper folder permissions for departments and users.
- Create and manage local user accounts and groups with role-based access control.
- Configure and deploy a secure remote access solution (VPN - L2TP/IPsec or PPTP) for employees working outside the office.
- Set up port forwarding (UDP 500, 4500, 1701) on the company router to allow external VPN connections.
- Implement automatic backup solutions for critical company data stored on the server.
- Provide technical support to employees for accessing shared folders from Windows, Mac, or mobile devices (via VPN).
- Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Document all configurations and procedures for future reference and handover

Requirements & Qualifications:

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMB, NAT, Firewall.
- Proven experience setting up Windows-based VPN (RRAS) and configuring routers for port forwarding.
- Familiarity with Dynamic DNS services (e.g., No-IP, DuckDNS) is a plus.
- Experience with user/group permissions, folder redirection, and network drive mapping.
- Ability to explain technical steps clearly to non-technical users.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Certifications like MCSA, CompTIA Network+ are a strong advantage.
